Hayee pips! Have been busy lately with sssoooooo many stuffs I cannot find time to blog. I am so desperate about that.
Anyway, here I am again to share with you my latest project which I consider a challenging one because I have tried out something new, which obviously, haven’t done before haha.
Recently, I have helped a friend of mine to set-up a birthday for her super duper cute daughter who will be turning 2. She liked a Hello Kitty-themed party since her daughter loves Hello Kitty.
So your crafty geek mommy thought of something kitty-ish with some touch of pink, pink, pink…
Here are the pictures:
I love how the flowers turned out as my backdrop. It is my very first handmade super large size flowers and I really loved it! For sure I will be making more!
So we have these desserts. From the top left: We have the hopia (bean-filled mooncake-like pastry), the Hello Kitty cake, fruits, puto (steamed rice cake), maja blanca (coconut pudding), leche flan (creme caramel) and kutsinta (brown rice cake). Yum yum yum.
I love this. Pink soda. Its color is perfect for the party!
Did you see my rossette bouquet? Ok, here is the bigger photo.
My Hello Kitty cut-outs are from Just Love Designs. Her site has a lot of printables which are absolutely free and easy to use. I have made a basic paper rossette and put the cupcake topper (hello kitty) at the center. To finish it off, I put a paper straw as a handle.
I am so happy how my Hello Kitty-themed party turned out to be. Not only did I enjoy making it, but putting a smile on the birthday celebrant and the parents was absolutely priceless!
Thanks for dropping by.
