Spring is in! How cool is that! Yes, it is spring time here in Australia. And it is our very first spring here since we made our big move. That is why we are so excited. not only that there are flowers and sun everywhere and anywhere, but there are special events happening this time of the year.
Anyways, to “celebrate” spring, I got so inspired I have made some paper flowers as backdrop to one birthday my friend hosted. You can check it out here to see how gorgeous it turned out.
And because of that, I thought why not make something for our house. We have just moved in to a new home and one thing that challenges me as a crafter is how to decorate our house within our budget. So I made these large paper flowers as a wall decor.
I just love the color blue and all shades of blue because it is so cool in the eyes. Then coordinated it with chocolate and vanilla colored cardstocks. I have used Kaisercraft cardstocks as my papers. The cardstock which I used for my leaves is a leftover from my stash. It is glittery green in color.
Creating these large paper flowers is so fun and easy. I will be uploading more photos soon with the other flowers I am currently making. Haha. I just feel so damn excited to show you all so I am blogging about it right now, lol!
Here is another shot with my daughters (we have temporarily removed the bed in this photo).
Stay tuned for more updates.
